Panoramic Train Journey to Aguas Calientes : Upon arrival at the Ollantaytambo train station, we board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. The train journey lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes and is considered one of the most beautiful railway routes in South America.

During the ride, the scenery constantly changes: crystal-clear rivers, giant mountains, cloud forests, and impressive rock formations accompany the route. As we advance, the Andean geography blends with the tropical vegetation of the high jungle, creating an extraordinary natural setting.

Arrival in Machu Picchu Pueblo and Ascent to the Sanctuary

Upon arrival at the Aguas Calientes train station, our professional guide will be waiting to assist and accompany you to the ecological bus station that ascends to the entrance of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.

The bus ride lasts approximately 30 minutes along a winding road surrounded by lush vegetation and deep mountains. Each curve reveals stunning views of the Urubamba River canyon and the natural environment that protects this archaeological wonder.

Finally, we arrive at the entrance of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, declared a UNESCO Cultural and Natural World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

Return to Cusco : In the afternoon, we board the return train to Ollantaytambo, once again enjoying the incredible Andean landscapes. Upon arrival at the station, our tourist transportation will be waiting to transfer you back to the city of Cusco.
