From there, continue for about one more hour to Challacancha (3,380 m / 11,090 ft), the starting point of the hike. The trail winds through spectacular mountains and valleys, offering panoramic views of the snow-capped Salkantay and Humantay mountains, eternal guardians of the Andes.
