Day 1: From Cusco Trek Salkantay- Cusco – Soraypampa – Humantay Lake

Early departure from Cusco to Mollepata for breakfast, then transfer to Challacancha (3,800 m), the starting point of the trek.
Hike for about 3 hours to Soraypampa (3,900 m), followed by an ascent to Humantay Lake (4,220 m).
Enjoy breathtaking views while your guide shares the region’s history and culture. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 2: From Cusco Trek Salkantay  Soraypampa – Salkantay Pass – Collpapampa

Early breakfast and ascent to the Salkantay Pass (4,650 m) with panoramic views of Salkantay, Humantay, Tucarhuay, and Pumasillo peaks.
Descend through Salkantaypampa and Soyrococha to Wacracmachay for lunch. Continue to Collpapampa for camp.
Distance: 22 km / 13.5 miles.

Day 3: From Cusco Trek Salkanta Collpapampa – Lucmabamba – Hidroelectrica – Aguas Calientes

Trek for about 5.5 hours through the jungle, passing coffee and banana plantations and discovering tropical flora such as orchids and medicinal plants.
After lunch, transfer to Hidroelectrica and continue hiking for 3 hours to Aguas Calientes.

Dinner and overnight at a hotel.
Distance: 16 km + 11 km / 10 + 7 miles.

Day 4: Machu Picchu – Cusco

Guided tour of Machu Picchu, exploring its squares, terraces, and observatories.
Optional climb to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (depending on ticket availability).
Free time for photos, then lunch and return by train to Ollantaytambo, followed by transport back to Cusco.
